The Gospel of Luke

Our study this fall will feature a "course within a course."  That is, we will have a brief introduction of approximately four to six weeks featuring an overview of the gospel.  After this we proceed to drink deeply from this well of salvation.

The gospel of Luke is written to help us grow in the certainty of faith through the use of eye-witness accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus.  Luke was a well-educated man, sensitive to both the Jewish and especially the Gentile worldview.  He writes with clear, crisp, focused language painting, nevertheless, perhaps the most breathtaking story of who Jesus was and is what he intended to accomplish.  Of particular relevance for us now is Luke's treatment of the importance of money.  Whether you are curious, a hungry believer, or an established pilgrim, you will grow as a result of this gospel of our Lord.
