This committee is responsible for maintaining and operation of the building. It also plans for future improvements and up dates to the building. It is responsible and has a annual budget for the following:
Utilities (gas, electricity, telephone, water, sewage and trash)
Repairs (elevator, kitchen, lights, boilers, pluming, and air conditioning)
Shuttle bus (repairs and maintenance)
Insurance (total property, bus and liability)
Janitorial service (daily cleaning of the church)
Major projects have been new flat roof on the back half of the building. Updating of the lounge. New air conditioning units for Fellowship Hall and Chapel, and Brides Room. Purchase of a new shuttle bus.
The committee is made up of a active elder and many volunteers who are interested in or has experience in the building trades. The building committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm in the conference room.
